The pair of shoes looks really comfortable and warm. I like the little story of the shoes. I faintly remember I used to write a dark story of a pair of shoes that similar to yours, but one of them eager to show off, whereas the other decided to stay back. As a result they tripped the owner to a fall and both of them has to go. I will try to recap that and put them together again.
