Conflict Between Human & Elephant

Life is the biggest gift given to every living being on earth. Life is what matters above all else because to achieve everything else, we need to be alive. Life is what all living beings treasure the most, and it does not matter what species you belong to, because it is the one thing that we have in common, humans and animals alike.

We human beings consider ourselves superior and as beings whose life is worth above any other living kind. These insane attitudes cloud over our minds and blur our logical thinking and common sense. We give little value to all other kinds of life and disregard completely that those lives matter too. Such attitude makes humans the most dangerous and most violent, thoughtless race on the planet. The elephants live in the jungle among the green, for it is where they are meant to be. They have food there; a habitat and fellow friends of the herd may roam with them. They live their innocent, carefree lives within the territory which Mother Nature has set aside for them.

We barge in as the known-it-all, superior beings, and destroy their territory and claim it. We build our habitats there and settle down disrupting and calm and convenient life the elephants had to themselves. So, when they try to go on about their lives and by chance, it disturbs what we do, we simply attack. The elephants don’t speak our language in return they do what they do to all beings that bring a threat to them. They counter-attack and there goes the elephant human conflict which is such a famous topic everybody discusses as if it is, the entire animal’s fault and they should be slaughtered because we humans invaded their territory. When will the poor animals get to defend themselves? and talk back to the humans and say ‘You heartless thieves. YOU stole our property!’ The human's attack and the animals attack back. Violence is the common form of expression for the two species. We cannot file a case against the elephants at the courts for destroying lives. Therefore, we as humans, very heartily considering ourselves ‘smartest beings of the planet’, must think a little deeper and realize that it is our own mistake. It all started with us and it will enjoy with us.

So think who has more power to stop this nonsense? The humans? Or the Elephants? Is putting electric fences and mini bombs and shooting and forest fire going to stop this? Think now. Understand the irony. Act accordingly. Save Life. Save the planet. Save the honor of being human and act as humans.
