12.04.2021 - New Year Preparation in Galle

Welcome back to my blogging.

This is the era of happy new year. People are so busy with shopping, buying home needs with the new hopes in their faces. These faces are delighted, eyes are shimmering in happy, keeping lips open to share their smiles with others. They do spend the money, someone's total monthly salary gets spent but all are in Happy because this is the NEW YEAR in SRI LANKA.

As you all know, we lost of celebrating the last year due to Covid pandemic. (2020). We had to hide our heads in the houses without having any single move to outside. Even we did have to go out for some essentials, we couldn't due to laws and as well as the fear to pandemic.

Now all of the Galle is releasing their pressures of not celebrating the last year. They are taking the revenge for last year. Now they are moving every nook and corner. Me also is included among "they" which was mentioned above.

Today started my journey from Matara, my native place headed to Galle via southern expressway with my lovely wife.

After 30 min of drive we could reach to Galle for Balance shopping. Why I said as balance shopping, because we did shopping in Matara till mid night.

We stepped into few shops to buy some cloths and to buy some presents to visit to relatives. When we moved our heads into fashion house, it was observed that peoples' 1st priority goes for selecting the cloths. Unfortunately it seems that no one cares about COVID pandemic.

So I wish that happiness may not be turned into a tragedy due to this pandemic and hope you all be safe forever.
