one plant, one life | battle month| 03

Hello dear steemians of the #srilanka community. Once again I'm posting for the @dulhara19 contest which I think is an excellent initiative to encourage the practice of constructive comments and the production of valuable content that adds more value to the steem ecosystem. The truth is I feel a little sorry for not being active the last few days, but I have had several inconveniences, including the internet and some situations that have escaped my hands. I'm quite behind, and maybe I won't win much, but I will continue posting and commenting as much as possible.

A long time ago I planted some bean plants with the goal of decreasing a little bit the amount of money spent weekly in my house. At first I just had to dig some holes in the ground and wait for the plants to grow. The time it took for the first sprouts to come out was quite short, and although it took a considerable time to produce the first harvest, when I finally had a pod in my hand I felt that I had obtained a small achievement, but only with time I realized, it is not as simple as watering and waiting....

Although it may seem a bit exaggerated, planting is like having children to a certain extent. By planting a seed you are preparing the conditions for a new life to be born. That seed, which in the beginning is small, can grow up to be very big and fill you with joy or sorrow, just like a small child.

You never know what will become of that creation of God that came into the world, however, the sower has the task of helping it in everything necessary for it to grow big and strong, successfully go through its stages of growth, thus becoming part of the natural cycle of life.

Growth

We can say that every life conceived regardless of whether it is human, animal or plant, carries with it a responsibility. The life of these bean plants depends entirely on me, whether bean production increases or decreases, whether they live or perish.

Perhaps comparing the life of a plant to a human life may seem ridiculous, but the truth is that we humans also need water and food, we need sunshine and special care to grow properly and to be good people in the not too distant future.

Although plants will not be "good people", if a plant is not properly cared for, it will grow poorly and its development will be poor. It will probably not be able to produce fruits or they will be few in quantity and poor in quality. Surprisingly, we humans are the same in that sense. Things like manners, good manners and other teachings we are taught from a young age have a direct impact on us and for better or worse, care at an early age can define what we will be in the future, perhaps, a straight or crooked tree.

A seed without parents

The seed sown, represents a possibility that cannot be measured, however, how can such a possibility develop and grow favorably to give results if the mother or father is not present?

The presence of the sower is fundamental. If one day you do not water the plant, it will end up drying up or deforming. If we apply the same concept to a child, what would happen, you cannot simply deprive a child of love because you do not want to water the seed that needs so many nutrients.

Less attention, less production. Less love can turn anyone into a person with many problems later on. Although the dimensions are different, it is essentially quite similar. In a manner of speaking, we are no less vulnerable than a small plant. Pests, lack of water or conditions conducive to raising a particular seed can translate into: tribulations, lack of love and the right environment for an infant to grow.

Sower

The sower's task is to sow, but that goes beyond planting a seed in the ground. It requires continuous effort and unparalleled diligence in order for the seed planted to germinate and become more than just a sprout stuck in the ground. Everyone can plant, but few know how to cultivate. We can learn with time and experience, but there are those who do not have that, and before they know it they have already sown and must take care of that tiny seed that is now in the process of seeing the sunlight.

If only one could have a guide for sowing, it would be perfect, but such a guide does not exist and these are things we must discover for ourselves. Many of you reading this could be sowers. Some surely are and have formed a family. As sowers, they are basically pillars that support everything or compasses that mark the direction. Their task is not small at all, nor is it something that anyone can do. That God-given task is to find the way, path or direction for that flower, that tree, that seed, to be one for which they feel proud.

Maybe it's a bit long, but I had to conclude the topic. Otherwise the idea would be incomplete. I'll try not to be so long if I don't have to.

Gardening is one of my favorite hobby I used to do when at my spare time, as I can utilize healthy veggies free from chemicals.

Highly appreciate your attempt to cultivate some beans in your home garden. Continue it.. 👏

#slbmc

Thanks so much for reading, this growing thing is quite an experience. Especially if you don't have a lot of knowledge as in my case.

Yes humans are like trees in one way. Both need love, care and affection.

Conversely trees are like humans in one way too. According to studies, trees feel pain and fear though they don't have an immune system. They send electrical signals like wounded human tissues when they are being cut.

Glad you are back with the game.

#slbmc

Pretty accurate, and not many people know it. Thanks so much for reading.

Also, my father love to cultivate and he has his own cultivated garden which provides brinjal, ladies fingers, bitter gourd, tomatoes, pumpkin, tapioca, radish, ginger, lime, curry lives, green chili, kankun, gotukola and etc;

Posting on #srilanka has been an incredible experience thanks to @dulhara19 contest. I think this kind of practice of posting and promoting the act of commenting should be practiced in other communities. This way the links between users would be stronger and we would create a better ecosystem.
