Cultivation of vegetables in barren paddy fields

Good day my dear friends. Today I am going to tell you about how our own paddy field turned into another crop after 25 years.

This paddy field is behind our house. It is about 1 acre in size. It was completely covered with weeds.

Our grandfather used to cultivate this paddy field and feed our mothers.
That era is very beautiful. The paddy is plowed, the paddy is planted, the paddy is harvested, the paddy is brought to the threshing floor and the paddy field is filled with sacks.

We fished in the Wakkade of the canal. Kawaiyo Tittayo. We are now living in an era where we have lost our Sinhalaness.

But today, at a time when the whole world is in an economic crisis, I thought I would take full advantage of this valuable paddy land.

There are no borders here at the moment.

All of us who were confined to our homes due to the plague of Kovid 19 started cultivating there.
We do not bring vegetables for everyday consumption from the shop now.
We only have rice .No chemical fertilizers .Dung manure from the village .We get a very good harvest using the organic manure we make .Because it is more for home consumption .All the neighbors in the village take money .The income from it was a big help during this time. .

So I have to say try to grow it at home. Growing it at home under home food. How healthy it is for the body. It does not require a lot of space.
Let's think together to become self-sufficient as a country. We think it is everyone's responsibility to endow our future children with a beautiful country.
.So friends, this post is about how I used my personal land. I think you all set a great example in this.
Good luck to you all. See you again..thank you ..
