SCIENCE PRACTICAL TO DEMONSTRATE RAINWATER, GROUND WATER AND SURFACE WATER.

Greetings from @a-lass-wonders!!

Welcome back to my blog again after long time. Hope you are doing really well.

I was really busy with our traditional Sinhala and Tamil new year festival last few days. After having a small vacation, I was able to start my teaching profession again. As my first task after new year festival, I planned to do a science practical session with my students to demonstrate rainwater, ground water and surface water.

POST TEMPLATE.jpg

We simply designed a practical to investigate the behavior of rain drops when they are fall down.

Here are the things we needed for our practical session.

  1. Finally, poured some water on to the components of soil, using the tin with holes.

  1. Students are guided to observe the flow of water.

OBSERVATIONS

  1. Some amount of water came through the tin and fell on to the soil.

  2. Some amount of water came through the components of soil.

  3. Some amount of water was remained on soil.

CONCLUSION

  1. The water comes through the tin and fell on soil is called as rain/precipitation.

  2. The water which flows through the components of soil is called ground water.

  3. The water remaining on soil is called as surface water.

Hope you guys enjoy my practical article today. Count on to meet back from something special. Stay tuned with me.

GOOD LUCK AND HAVE A NICE DAY!!
