It's hard for me to say for sure either. When delegating more than 400SP, it is expected that the vp will also increase slightly.

Liquid STEEM rewards are originally paid for curation rewards received in SP. This is based on how much SP you delegated 7 days ago. Upvoting starts the next day after delegation starts, but Liquid STEEM rewards start 7 days later. (Remember, the Steem blockchain is designed so that author rewards and curation rewards payout occurs after 7 days) Please read the following guide.
