Gymnastics 2023 US Classic Highlights

The return of Simone Biles to gymnastics, and the US Classic, after 2 years away from competition couldn't have been more successful. She didn't just win, she obliterated the competition by finishing 5 whole points ahead of the 2nd best gymnast of the night, Leanne Wong.

It was an exciting night, where we got to see not just 1, but 2 Olympic all-around champions in the same competition, which is something that hasn't happened before at the US Classic, or Core Hydration Classic, as it was called this year.

And what to say about Mélanie De Jesus Dos Santos, who participated in the event, but as an all-around guest, so her scores didn't count towards the competition, which is a shame, because she would have finished 2nd overall, behind an untouchable Simone Biles. Best to watch the video and enjoy the amazing gymnastics these girls gifted us with.
