Ademola Lookman, England international player has said he is ready to play for Nigeria’s super eagles. The 22-year old player has a UK passport but now wants to play for Nigeria-his parent’s country.
He is now awaiting approval from the world’s governing football body FIFA.

Tuned Adelakun, super eagles technical assistant confirmed this development and hailed his courage to serve his motherland. He said they are waiting for FIFA’s clearance. If he is cleared, it would be up to Genort Rohr to decide if he would have a sport in the team.

Lookman scored 12 goals in 49 goals for Charlton before he joined Everton in January 2017.

He has struggled to appear in may games this season as he has made only four appearances this season.
Nigeria had in the past wooed Alex Iwobi, Victor Moses and others in the past to join the Super Eagles.

If Lookman’s approval is successful, he would be in a stiff battle with Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Ahmed Musa and others for a position in the squad.
