Strangest insects in the world !!

Despite their small size, insects play a big role in the huge and complex ecosystem in the world. Some are useful, some are dangerous, some are wonderful and beautiful, and all form an integral part of the wildlife of the world.

1- Rainbow locusts
One of the African insects that are not trying to hide in their surrounding environment is the rainbow locust. The insect does not hide because animals cannot eat it because it contains substances that cause animal poisoning. So it is not a welcome dinner. This insect can grow to about 10 cm in length.

2- African honeybees
These social insects live in Central and Southern Africa, and they are a type of western honey bee. But it is slightly smaller than its European relatives and produces less honey. But don't let the insect's mysterious body fool you, its bite is more powerful than western honeybees. Although they are linked to the "killer" bees that are spread all over the world, these workers focus on a specific task of producing delicious honey.

3- African giant beetle
Another strange creeper tries to blend with his surrounding environment in African tropical forests by means of his colors. The giant African beetle whose female is slightly smaller than the male and has a length of about 5 cm and has prominent horns. These beetles live on fruits and mucilage flows from openings in the trees. Also called beetle flowers, they live for up to five months.

4- Builders of termites
Many insects are not known for their architectural abilities, but here termites made this tall building in the savannah, in the Otjozondjupa region of Namibia. This type of ants lives all over Africa, Australia and South America. The termite
builders build huge architectural formations, on top of tunnels that hide their underground nests. These nests are durable and remain even after their termite daughters die.

6- Mantis flower of the devil
The insect is also known in the Arab world as (the horse mare). It appears to be part of a student project at a fashion school. (Idolomants dipolica) This is its Latin name, meaning mantis flower of Satan, and it is found in different colors. This insect in Africa is one of the largest sizes of its kind, and it lives in many East African countries such as Tanzania. It resembles flower leaves, but it is a deadly insect as it feeds on other insects and its favorite meal is insects.
