David Luiz leaves Arsenal this summer

The Brazilian, experienced defender David Luiz has played 30 matches for the London club this season, but after a disappointing season for 'The Gunners', who are currently ranked 9th in the Premier League, must now be sorted out in the troupe.

There was a meeting between David Luiz and the club's board on Friday, where they agreed that it is best if the defender leaves the club, as the club feels they have to make room for the younger players, writes BBC.

Luiz joined Arsenal from London rivals Chelsea for around £70m two years ago, but is leaving the club this summer. It is not yet known if he is interested in staying in England or taking the adventure on to another country
