Visa and Crypto.com Partners to Launch NFT Collections
Visa has announced a cooperation with Crypto.com, a Singapore-based crypto business, to commence NFT collections ahead of the FIFA 2022 World Cup.
Legendary soccer players Jared Borgetti, Tim Cahill, Carli Lloyd, Michael Owen, and Maxi Rodriguez will all have famous goals in the NFT.
In addition to the foregoing, tournament attendees will be able to create their own digital art.
"As the FIFA World CupTM 2022TM approaches, we want to celebrate football, art, and technology through the lens of what makes the FIFA World CupTM so special - wildly passionate fans, legendary athletes, and, for a few short weeks, the ability to bring the world together in a uniquely connected way," said Andrea Fairchild, senior vice president at Visa.
