Vacation At Eket
I will like share with you all how my vacation at Eket went. The vacation was a very exciting one.
Eket is a small lively town in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria of West Africa. The city is also referred to as "oil city" That is because most of the oil companies have this presence in the small town as their is large oil peposit around it's territorial waters.
Going from Aba, I decided to use the aba-ikot ekpene road. The road was so bad that you can only get to ikot ekpene with a motorcycle.
Bellow was the condition of that road as at the time I went on that vacation in 2015, am almost sure that it have not received attention till now despite the fact that it is a federal road connecting two states that depends on each other for various things.

While the one week vacation lasted, I stayed at a friend's apartment.
A few other mutual friends came around to welcome me.
The first three days were not very fun. Because my friend that should take me around town was busy with work.
As expected, by Friday, when he closed from work, he called me to dress up and meet him at a certain location in town, I met him and it was a party night.
We partied till around 2am when we returned home to rest.
The next day, which was a Saturday, my friend who is hosting me had need to attend a wedding of one of his friends, and it was to hold at Uyo.
Uyo is the state capital of Akwa Ibom State.
By 9:30 am we were ready for the wedding.

After the wedding, we returned home and rested.
By evening, I went to see a family friend and his family that lives in same town, they were very happy to have me. We discussed allot about lots of things, including family, politics and sports. I really had a nice time with them. I spent the night at their place and returned to my friends house the next morning after breakfast.

On Sunday, I didn't go to church, we only went to the market, prepared food, eat and rested.
At about 4pm we drove off to the beach. This was the highlight of my trip to Eket. I really enjoyed the sea breeze and I made two new friends and we all shared a few bottles of drinks

I had the whole of Monday to arrange myself and rest ahead of my trip back to Aba the next day, tuesday.

That was how I traveled to Eket and back.
Subsequently in life, I will like to go on vacation at bony island, I have heard allot of good things about there. I will also want to visit Elegushi beach in lekki, Lagos State Nigeria
