Suddenly, they arrive: on Earth. Parasitic aliens who land on Earth quickly enter the brains of their target (humans) and infiltrate their humanity. These people gain complete control of their hosts and gradually gain control of many. Not only do they control the brain but they also bring a kind of power to their host body through their own power which acts like the claws of a sharp beast or a sharp blade.
Sixteen-year-old high school student Shinichi Izumi falls victim to one of these parasites, but it fails to hold his brain, instead moving to the right hand. Unable to relocate, the parasite, whose name is now Miggy, has no choice but to rely on Shinichi for survival. Thus, the pair are forced into an uncomfortable coexistence and to protect them from their hostile parasites, who hope to eradicate this new threat to their species.
