RE: La Furia Roja vs The Three Lions

in WOX Sportslast month

I wondered if that was th case… England can’t play like that because Harry Kane can’t move. I think that if Ollie Watkins plays, we’ll be more direct but with Kane, our style of play is very patient.

It’s fairly uncommon in the Premier League to see a team play like that these days. It’s something associated with the English game in the 80’s and early 90’s.

Yeah...the Premier League's style of play drastically changed as several coaches with different playing styles undermined Manchester United's dominance, call it Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho, and Jurgen Klopp.

The influence of the English style of play can not be separated from the three coaches I mentioned, in 2000 became the beginning of England no longer relied on the ball game that was directly sent to the heart of the opponent's defense.

Harry Kane is not under Pep Guardiola's tutelage, this is in stark contrast to the super-fast movements of Phil Foden and Kyle Walker. Harry Kane is indeed much more patient, actually being a good combination of Bukayo Saka, Harry Kane, and Phil Foden.

Facing Spain with a pattern of playing that relies on possession, tight Pressing is the solution, in my opinion.

By the way, What do you think? Is this the right time England champion?

We are sorry to say this, but we in Indonesia read the news that there are always fights off the pitch by English supporters, this is very unfortunate. But I must admit, the love of English supporters is as great as the supporters in my country, this also often happens Indonesia, even much worse. But it's still very sad that this can happen.
