Fantasy F1 || Race 8 || Austria Review
This was another fairly uninteresting race which doesn't bode well for Race 9 which will be held on the same track!
Verstappen totally dominated and Mercedes simply don't have the straight line speed to catch up with the Red Bull at the moment. Bottas did well to finish in 3rd having had a 3 place grid penalty for spinning in the pit lane.
Having qualified very poorly, the Ferraris must be happy with 6th and 7th, especially after Leclerc took our Gasly at the beginning of the race forcing Leclerc into an early pit stop and Gasly to retire. If the Ferraris can qualify better next weekend, they could challenge further up but at the time of writing, I'm expecting another dominant Red Bull performance next week and in all likelihood, I'll have a nap during the race. Unless there's some unpredictable weather which this Grand Prix is notorious for so I have my fingers crossed 🤞
