Man City Confirm the signing of Erling Haaland. Is he worth the price?
Several teams have had an eye on the Borussia Dortmund attacker Erling Haaland but including Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Man United, PSG, Man City and even to Liverpool.
However, the news has broken out that he has be secured by Manchester City for the next few football seasons. It is agreed that he will become Man City player at the end of the season and move from the bundesliga side to the English premier league.
The Norwegian has I said earlier has been the apple in most of the coaches eyes but has ended up in the hands of Pep Gurdiola just like his father Haaland who also played for the Manchester side in the space of three years starting in the year 2000.
According to sources Manchester City are ready to make a payment of 75million Euro which is subjected to a review under the player's personal terms and conditions. The clubs announced this on Tuesday 20 may 2022.

Despite the injuries he has been facing the whole of this season, he has managed to be able to find the back of the net 28 times in a total game of 29 across all competition. Just one less and then one conclude that he gives a goal per a football match.
Looking at his statistics of play, it is his own colleague Robert Lewandowski who has scored more goals than him across Europe in the season with a percentage per goal in a match been 1.13 to 1.10 .
Is performance to me is one of the best and he style of play I believe will perfectly fit the Gurdiola side. Pep will also be able to direct and instract him on what to do since he is young. I believe he will be able to achieve his dream at the club.

To think that Spurs wanted over £100m for Harry Kane last summer, to get a 21 year old Erling Haaland for less than half the price is a bargain. He's got everything you need from a striker and if he stays fit, he could break some records in that Man City team.
I don't know how they've got him at that price.
To me I think spurs did not want to release Kane that was the more reason why they provided those values and that huge money. Sure there is always an option for teams.
According to my sources the actual price for him was £51m but there was an inclusion cross summing it up to £75m. If agent fees and bonuses come in addition then it will rise to £85.6m
