England is a Finalist
First half has finished with a 1-1 score. The Netherlands scored the first goal via a very good shot that Pickford could not reach. I still think there was a foul on an English player during the build up to the goal, but neither the referee n or VAR saw it that way so I am probably wrong. England immediately went on the attack and got a just reward via a Dumfries penalty, I think that was just a late reaction, Kane had already made his shot which went wide but Dumfries could not pull his leg back. a clear penalty to me, and in fact if Dumfries had been the last man he would have been sent off.
Kane scored the penalty with a nice low kick to the corner of the goal. From then on England had possession and quite a few chances, though Dumfries headed a ball to the cross bar. Foden had two good shots, one hit the post and the other was stopped by the goalkeeper. A good display by England in this first half with over 60% possession and a very aggressive attitude. I particularly liked Mainoo and Foden.
Second half started out more balanced with the Dutch team looking much more offensive. Pickford made a great save, and still the Dutch are attacking. This second half has turned completely for the Dutch, but they have been unable to have any attacking proficiency. England on the other hand had a goal disallowed for an offside, I still have to see that line, but again VAR has a better view. After this the Dutch went all out but to no avail. And then what usually happens happened. The English had a good attack Watkins made a nice turn in the Dutch area and scored a great goal. Again the English relied on Lady Luck, even though I must say this was their best game so far. But the second half was for the Dutch and England somehow managed to win it. Good for them.
Now the final is England vs Spain. If I were betting I would go all in for Spain, who have been in my opinion the best team in the whole tournament. But, there is always a but, I seem to sense a weakness in their defense, so actually I would not bet. England got so far without playing great football, if they have a good game on Sunday, they might just go all the way.
Wait, Walker also played a great game.

A very good game for England on the night.
We were much better last night, partly due to how the Netherlands sat so deep in the 1st half (which they didn't do in the 2nd).
It was interesting to see how the Dutch played higher because Kane refused to run in behind... which meant that when Watkins came on, the defenders weren't prepared for the run in behind.
