RE: ⚽ Revisited: 2021/22 Premier League What Ifs?
I was honestly surprised how Newcastle got that good this season. I mean, they signed some good players and changed tactics but I wasn't actually expecting them to go that far; they did real good.
And about my team, yeah at that point Ronaldo was a dead wood and removing him from the team made things a little better for us. I'm not gonna make any comment on Weghorst; man let me down, such a shame.
Is Lisandro tiny tho? Wellll....
although a real title challenge still feels some way off.
We live to see 👀
Martinez isn't teeny tiny but at 1.75m, he's short for a centre back. For comparison, the Man Utd Legend Harry Maguire is 1.94m and that clown Jaap Stam was 1.91m.
Newcastle have just been so effective in everything they've done so far. Their biggest challenge this season will be their squad depth and I'll be very surprised if they reach top 4 again - unless they focus on the Premier League and ignore the Champions League - which is unlikely.
I really don't understand Weghorst. If you want a big lump up front, I'm sure there are better options.
Very unlikely. But I don't see them going far in the Champions league anyway, so they'll get time to focus on the local league, but even so I agree with you... top 4 will be a little hard for them to reach
