Here I am with you joining the challenge Thursday is the Day of the Butterflies and the Day of Insects of our friend @whatisnew. I have a lot of fun making challenges and try to participate in them as much as possible, since they seem very interesting because they stimulate creativity from some simple photographs.

Aquí estoy con ustedes sumandome al desafío Thursday is Butterfly Day and Insect Day de nuestro amigo @whatisnew. Me divierto mucho haciendo desafíos y trato de participar en ellos en la medida de lo posible, ya que me parecen muy interesantes porque estimulan la creatividad a partir de algunas simples fotografías.

A few years ago while we were arranging the garden of one of the houses that we rented we found a very large specimen of a lobster.

Hace unos años mientras arreglábamos el jardín de una de las casas que alquilábamos nos encontramos con un ejemplar muy grande de una langosta.

Although locust swarms can destroy entire crops causing total losses in the fields, when they are found in isolation they do not cause major inconveniences. In several countries on the African continent they are considered a pest and often cause enormous damage to cultivated areas.

Si bien los enjambres de langostas pueden destruir cultivos enteros provocando pérdidas totales en los campos, cuando se las encuentran en forma aislada no producen mayores inconvenientes. En varios países del continente Africano son considerados plaga y suelen causar enormes destrozos en las superficies cultivadas.

Personally, I think they are cute animals, many people can be frightened by the large size of some specimens, where the physical characteristics of these insects can be observed in detail.

En lo personal, me parecen animalitos simpáticos, muchas personas pueden sentirse atemorizados por el gran tamaño que presentan algunos ejemplares, donde se pueden observar al detalle las características físicas de estos insectos.

Who discovered this lobster was my wife and was very scared to see it. It was there that I got close to spending the place to see what it was about and it was there that I could realize that it was a lobster of a larger size than usual.

Quién descubrió a esta langosta fue mi esposa y se pegó un gran susto al verla. Fue ahí que me acerque gasta el lugar para ver de qué se trataba y fue ahí que pude darme cuenta que se trataba de una langosta de un mayor tamaño que lo habitual.

When I was little with my older brother we gathered them and kept them in jars some days where we tried to observe them as they ate the leaves we put on them.

De pequeño con mi hermano mayor las juntabamos y las guardábamos en frascos algunos días donde tratábamos de observarlas como comían las hojas que les poníamos.

If you come across one of them do not panic they are harmless despite their appearance.

Si se cruzan con una de ellas no se asusten son inofensivas a pesar de su aspecto.
