There are 100s of vineyards in the UK. Theyre doing just fine. They also have agriculture in Greenland. It's not ALL ice and you dont always need soil to farm.

I admit when I learned that there were none was in the early 1960's (even then it may not have been completely correct as there are reportedly about 500 now!
