We are undertaking something much bigger than just earning ourselves some cryptocurrency. To me, this is a much bigger struggle against those who do not have the best interest of humanity at heart.
There are those who are in control who benefit from the system exactly how it is. We now have the opportunity to change the system and cryptocurrency offers a path.

Cryptocurrencies and other decentralised systems can definitely help "drain the swamp". Each decentralised system that is successful in taking away the need for the government to provide that service, like currencies, takes away the opportunity for a group or an individual to use the power of running that service for their own benefit. This will help drain the swamp.
