Steem is the platform where all the D'apps reside. Steemit.com is one of those dapps.. the first and the most influential. Steemit Inc is the block development company that built the Steem platform and currently the main developer. Justin Sun bought Steemit.. not Steem.
Steem wont fall down ... it can grow when everyone including Justin understand better.
That is my intention.
Jastin bought Steemit, but if it was wrong to move it it would be very bad going forward. Like taking over an effort, it can't just be done normally, there must be a process first.
But I am very confident that this plan will succeed, because the people in it (witnesses) can still control it.
his initial announcements of his intent were not ever going to work just from a technical standpoint .. and then there is this very passionate and vocal community which will fight to the death to protect Steem. Don't think he was expecting that.
