Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Churchill Alemao said that tigers should be
"punished" for eating cows when humans are punished for the same. A tigress and three of her cubs were killed by five locals in Mahadayi Wildlife Sanctuary last month. The issue was raised by Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat through a calling attention motion on the floor of the House during the Assembly session on Wednesday. "What is the punishment for a tiger when he eats a cow? When a human being eats cow, he is punished," Churchill Alemao said.

I believe I can't really place certainty to this issue because it deals with a state of morality and the statement of fact that humans can be majorly hypocritical. I believe he's raised awareness on the fact that our ways as humans is not totally perfect and hence we shouldn't be judgemental. It's a really thoughtful statement.
This is ridiculous, but what do we expect from religious fanaticism? What's next, punishing birds for pooping over people? Killing ants or spiders if caught looking at their nakedness?
Humorist must be having a hell of a time trying to come up with jokes these guys have not already made seriously.
I understand that cows are sacred animals to them, but it is a crime to kill tigers. And without that they are gone.
They are already being punished for being tiger........
i believe the bottom line of what he is saying is that the whole society should learn to be less judgmental.....
