Climbing Ella Rock
Climbing Ella Rock for sunrise certainly is one of the best experiences to be had in Sri Lanka
To get to Ella Rock, start in Ella Village and walk along the railway tracks. After a while, you'll see a trek going up a hill on the left side of the tracks.
The many small paths up the hill can be very confusing, a fact loved by the locals who will offer to guide you for a tip of you get lost. However, with the help of maps.me and recommendations by fellow travelers I had no issues finding the way.
