HitBTC Insolvency

The news went through the Interwebz recently, that HitBTC may be insolvent and has only ~350 BTC left in capital.

I don't know if this is true, true is, that a lot of people have problems to withdraw any funds from HitBTC and that is not a new thing.

I'm personally affected by some 200 XTZ, Tezos, stuck in there that I cannot withdraw and according to their own "System Monitor" there was no withdrawal possble for a whole month already.

Support answered and tried to blame transaction times for the delay, however no transaction was ever commited from HitBTC side. They do not have the coins to send them out which basically means they hijack our funds. This was already confirmed looking at their Twitter as an ongoing problem for more than half a year.

DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY/COINS TO HitBTC. This exchange is a scam outlet and likely one of the next to go down the drain after Cryptopia.
