'Air Pump'
This prestigious piece of equipment is an air pump. In the 17th century, it was used for various experiments regarding vacuum and pressure. The quality of manufacturing is so high that it can easily be regarded as a high-value object these days. The original air pump was invented by Otto Von Guericke who pumped out the air out of two joined hemispheres that horses couldn't put apart.

A luxury object that still has a lot of significance today, @velimir! I've never seen it before. I imagine that this object must be in a museum. I was impressed with the luxury and the elaborate nature of this device. Incredible as it may have evolved over time to become the piece it is today. It looks like a time machine! First of all I would like to say that this Air Pump looks so fascinating and royal in it's design. I also didn't know the information you shared about this unique Pump. It seriously took me to 18th Century due to it's design and all the material used over it. Such a lovely find--- <3
