On July 15, 1939, a barge approached the Belaya coast of Keti. Several people of young people came to the shore and were older than they. In memory of Olga Ivanovna Murzina this day will remain forever.

People came to organize a new district, to assert life in the taiga. They were party and Komsomol delegates from Kolpashev: Party, Soviet and Komsomol workers. Among them there is the almost complete composition of the Komsomol district committee: Olga Murzina, first secretary, I. Soloviev, A. Paljin. Taiga met the guests silently, even sullenly.

And she seemed to them grim. When once the Beloyarsk fishers came to the pier, they saw bear tracks. Very fresh. The bear walked around the village where people lived. The bear was not afraid of people. In nature, there are many known cases when the rivers suddenly shift their channels aside. This is a natural phenomenon of nature.

But when from one place to another the village moves, by accident it is not called. This is not an ordinary phenomenon of nature. This phenomenon of our days. Many years have passed since then. The hair of Olga Ivanovna markedly silvered. But she still remembers what the White Yar was like in 1939. He was on the present territory of the state farm Taiga, the taiga ...

Several houses, and again the taiga. Olga Ivanovna's eyes are kind, intelligent eyes. She sits in the library of the district party bureau, in which she is currently working, and looks thoughtfully out the window ...

This central street, which bears the name of the first Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, it appeared only recently. About ten years ago the ancient cedars were still in power here. Now they are not, these cedars.

Now beautiful houses, a high school building, a district party committee building, a number of shops, a communication center, a library have grown here. I hope this town has a great future.
