Period Hitchcock Style Side Chair ~ EXCEPTIONAL ~ Price Sold $575
This is a very early and great side chair. Although not signed it is attributed to Hitchcock furniture. Circa early to mid 1800s. Great design and early furniture craftsmanship with stenciling and hand painted decoration. Reed weave seat but has been replaced at one time. Looks like they did a tasteful job.
Gorgeous period chair with lots of charm and character.
This sweetheart realized / sold for $575 and went to a good collector's home.
