Hobbes Leviathan reveals that the general philosophy of his political theory will be a complete materialist philosophy. Materialists reveal that there is only material, there is no substance without material existence. Thus, believing that something without material existence can not exist, Hobbes turns his attention to the material world.

The establishment of the state and the ending of the state of nature has been through the social contract. When we look at the theory of Hobbes' Society contract, it is the result of the war between people, that is, the society contract that people who are the last ones in nature come together. So people gathered and handed over all their rights on a sovereign basis with a contract between them. Thus, they had established a state under the rule of which they had allotted their rights to their heads, and went from state of nature to state of civilized society.
