They may well have had experimented in weather manipulation. The problem is like our experiments now there are always unintended consequences. Geoengineering concerns me, messing with Mother Nature rarely ends well. I believe Yonaguni was built pre-flood so being under the ocean is no surprise. There are plenty of other examples of submerged settlements the world over, some by modern design, some due to seismic occurances and some much older ones built in extreme antiquity, it is the latter that fascinate me. Hopefully more research will be done to unlock the truth regarding that unrecorded epoch.
