The king Nebuchadnezzar

He is one of the most famous Babylon kings in Second Babylonian Empire his region was (605-562 BC) last for 43 years. He was a brilliant military leader he fought many a battle and won them. In his time Babylon city became one of the richest cities in the world. This king was smart he was benefiting from all human and material resources of the people he invasion them but he was tolerance allowed them to worship their gods. Nebuchadnezzar contemporary of the Prophet Daniel, he was taken as prisoner from Palestine to Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar saw a dream in some night and he wants from his augurs and magicians tell him the dream and give him explanation about it. Of course they did not know the dream and its explanation unless he tells them first. I think he was knew that these magicians were Jugglers and even he told them about the dream they would give him any explanation so he wants any excuse to punish them as a result, he ordered his minister to execute them but when the prophet Daniel heard that he came to minister and told him that he can know the Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream and he can also give to him the explanation also.

On condition that the king stops the order in executed .When Nebuchadnezzar heard that he approved about the prophet condition he also makes him one of the best friends.

Daniel told in his book that Nebuchadnezzar became Crazy after rule last for 43 years old he was thinking became ox and he starts to feed in the field then he dead . News for Nebuchadnezzar found in the books of Kings, news, Ezra, Nehemiah, Jeremiah and Daniel.

It was one of big Babylon mysteries how this great king became in this badly condition I think this mystery similar to the invasion of Babylon without fighting with Persians.

In spite of this tragedy ended for this great king I think this not underestimate for this great king.

Architectural achievements

Nebuchadnezzar devoted himself to complete the temple Atiminanki “Tower of Babel” he also built the hanging gardens considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World, he fortifies Babylon walls adding third wall outside the double walls beside he built another wall called the Mediagn wall in north the city between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. According to estimates by the Greeks the wall can be 100 feet high, he expanded the old pales adding many other Suites and rooms. So become many other rooms and big internal halls available to Government building walls decorate with Colored glazed slabs and sculptures half protruding.

Military achievements

Nebuchadnezzar succeed in elimination the Assyrian army in Syria he also won two important battles against the army of the Pharaohs in spite of he lost many soldiers in the first battle he also ended Jews kingdom and took them as Prisoners to Babylon. So, his kingdom reached from Egyptian and Syria, Turkey to Iran until the arab gulf this Babylon kingdom was similar to Hammurabi kingdom in the area.
