LOL, yes they even made a Bollywood movie, "Mr. Natwarlal" based on him.
A few years back at age 84, he also escaped prison and there is no trace of him since then. Probably dead. The police were transferring him somewhere - he said he needed to go for a pee, and when the cops guarding him turned their back, he slipped away. :)
Anyways he sold the Taj Mahal several times - very cheap for millions if not $1.06 billion. :D

why does it change colors?
because of the design. the architects did all sorts of optical illusion tricks and even tried to make it earthquake proof.
