Mysterious French Alchemist , Fulcanelli
This is another mystery remained unsolved in the World. Fulcanelli and his books were quite interesting and it was giving some extraordinary information about alchemy , however nobody accomplished to find him.
Story of Fulcanelli
It is the nickname of a famous writer , alchemist who lived in the beggining of 20th century. He managed to get all the attention from a lot of chemists with the book he wrote in 1922 named "mystère des cathédrales". His fellow student Eugene Canseliet claimed that he managed to turn the 100 gr lead in to gold by using philoshopy stone like harry potter lol and the information which learned from him and methods let him do that.
Fulcanelli
After Fulcanelli leaving paris in 1926 nobody saw him untill 1936 and during the World War 2 Gestapo's searched him in entire france however they never able to reach him and didn't find any clue about him.
Except the alchemy mambo jambo he also mentioned how to destroy atom and nuclear fusion energy in his books. In the 1945 american g-2 general met with french chemist Jacques Bergier , because he thought that they spoke with Fulcanelli about the possible dangers that will be created by nuclear energy , however his efforts to learn his location remained unpaid. I guess chemists are not snitches if you snitch another chemist you will get sulfuric acid in to your face.
He is immortal too he found the immortality before it was cool , In 1953 his student canseliet claimed that she saw him in spain in 1953. However he was 80 years old in 1926 when they last met with each other. She pointed that he was looking maximum 50 years old. Eventhough we don't have any idea about who thought this mega skills to Fulcanelli , again Cansaliet said that he might got his theoritacal learning from German Chemist Basil Valentine
Another rumor says that his students Eugene Canseliet , Jean-Julien champagne and Jules boucher is working in a secret organization called heliopolis brotherhood and they are still using the secrets method of fulcanelli . Wait if he is immortal he might be still walking with us looking like 50.
I've studied Alchemy myself to some extent. Al thought my experiences were mainly on spiritual alchemy. It is true that a person can expand his lifetime to some extent but immortality is a strange phenomenon.
It is a sword with two edges, you can be bound to this earthly existence but it limits you only to it. Of course, if you believe that there is nothing after death, then my comment would be void in this case. Although if you have any experience in astral projection, you can kinda find an understanding as to what I try to say.

Interesting, @steeminator3000. Never heard of him. I'm not sure alchemy is legit either. Still, I find it a very interesting subject
@wachera I completely understand the skepticism toward alchemy, or rather just the idea of turning any base metal into pure gold, but I would point out that alchemy was the precursor to chemistry. It is purely the study of transformations, whatever the subject may be. I've personally taken to studying alchemy in terms of herbal medicine and it's fascinating. it really paints a picture of how connected everything in the universe really is.
Alchemy in terms of herbal medicine does sound fascinating @semperflorens. It is incredible how much one can learn here!
