Abundance
Today I went shopping at Goodwill. In Arizona (which is all I can write about today, 5/18/2017, because this is where I am) there is so much abundance it amazes me. We have so many here who claim "poor". I purchased 7 clothing item for my fella and 6 for myself - total cost $13. Poor is a state of mind when there is so much all around. In the spring here there is so much citrus fruit that it is hard to give it away. There are food banks everywhere. There is an organization called "Shoes That Fit" that gives shoes to school children because their "poor" parents don't buy their children shoes. Many, many people donate to Goodwill. Two of the items I bought for my self today still had their original price tags on them. Poor is a state of mind in the USA. The victims of this state of mind are the children. Victims usual look for a savior. We do not teach our children how not to be victims. If we did that, when those children were grown, they would be hard to control. Most every thing is about power and control. In Africa there are no resources because of draught, war, ignorance, and religious suppression. In Africa, some are truly poor.
