Nice one, I was thinking about the mule towards the end of the story, We should go look for him, LOL!
Chasing wild Indians into the bush, may not be the smartest decision anyone has chosen. Masters of camouflage and masters of ambush; are not the ones to chase into cover.

howdy sir smithlabs! I agree about chasing them into the cover. If they were forced to make a stand I think they may have prevailed but they didn't like the odds, especially with the dogs which complicated things a little bit. But it all worked out well except for the Indian that got scalped by the bush and the poor mule who hopefull got himself loose or got the attention of someone!
That scalping sure would have hurt, LOL! Mules are pretty vocal, so someone would have found her.
Not real smart following them, even with the dogs (even though they do help a lot).
But everyone lived, so that's good.

I've never been around mules. But if you say they take after you then that mule was probably found when the men got back to camp!
I have been called a Mule before; for acting like a Texan, LOL....

ha! well most times I've found being stubborn is an advantage not an insult!
Bigfoot stubborn? Be still my heart...
But If I wasn't stubborn, I wouldn't still be here!
:)>
yeah so stay stubborn sir smithlabs..wait, do you mean you wouldn't still be on earth or on steemit?
Likely both, LOL! But primarily steemit.
Stubborn is my nature after all....
