RE: The Templars and Hospitallers: backbones of the Latin cause in Palestine?

in #history6 years ago (edited)

I found an Old Envelope Note. I have a boxfull as envelopes were the easiest to grab scrap in the truck when I want to scribble notes. This note from a Teutonic Templar : ''Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomine tuo da gloriam.'' ~ Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but to Thy name give glory.~
Not much, but an addendum ¿ 😃

Sort:

Pretty intense, but not surprising. The Church was such an indelible part of that period (and others) in history.

One can well imagine that boxful of envelope notes you've collected. :D

Haha lol. Mostly ph# and addresses, and no, not little black book of girls', but motor parts for the bitsa, ai¿
