Dark History - Concentration Camp Mauthausen, Austria

First of all, some informations about the concentration camp.

The construction of the camp began in August 1938. It was built near a granite quarry and because of its proximity to Linz. The granite that was mined there was needed to realize the plans of Albert Speer. First it was run as a prison camp but it was converted to a labour camp later on.
