Why Lord Krishna has 16,000 wives?
Are you shocked by seeing that number? Yes, there are 16,000 wifes in Krishna's holy writings. In particular, he has 16,108 wifes but we can't even manage 1 in our life 🤣 how ?? That's why God's are great :P
There are many interesting stories about Indian mythology. He is famous for many wonders and there are many attractive stories. He was married to the eternal love of Radha & eight most beautiful princesses and 16,000 wives. Surely we do not know the cause but it is very surprising .
When we went through the books, we didn't find the Lord Krishna Radha's marriage. But he married eight women & names of the eight wives are Rukmini, Satyabhama, Jambavathi, Kalindi, Mitravirindha, Nagnaji, Bhadra and Lakshmana. Among them Rukmini and Satyabhama became more popular .
Now the story of 16,000 wives, Lord Krishna knows us as a wonderful king. There is a reason for this to happen therefore his 16,108 wives have no fault to say as part of 'Krishna Lila' .
So, what are the circumstances leading to the marriage of Krishna 16,000 women? Let us know about it.
After the death of Narakasura, all the items stolen by the land were handed over to the victims including 16000 women. Lord Krishna is not in a position to take them for free .
In ancient times, when the King surrendered, the women had to be taken back from other kingdoms. 16,108 women in Narakasura's prison cell are also experiencing the same pain. Therefore, they prayed to Lord Krishna to accept them as wifes .
Thus Lord Krishna married all of them. After their marriage, Krishna spent his lifelwith wife's & Each of the junior wifes is given a house. Hundreds of servants were appointed as well. Krishna divided himself into several forms, spending the night with each wife and each wife simultaneously.
Every morning when he is the king of Dwarka, all his forms are united in the body. Each wife individually provided Krishna with services, worship, bathing, dressing, gifts and flowers.
