Victory of Seneffe

here is another exemple of the mass production of counter from the nuremberg's engravers.
This product copy of the french ordinary counters was for the french market even if they were forbiden.
The original was about the victory of the prince of Condé over the dutch prince of Orange in 1674.
On the Obverse : LVDOVICVS MAGNVS REX the head of the king signed L.G.L (Lazar Gottleib Lauffer)
On the Reverse : PVGNA AD SENEFFAM the Victory over guns
