Etats de Bretagne 1730

During the french royal period, France was divided in différents area (province). Those areas had assemblies to vote for the budget.
This token (counter) was for the assembly of Britanny for the year 1730. In those assemblies the three orders were represented (1/3 Nobility, 1/3 churchmen, 1/3 Ordinary men called "tiers état")
Each representant recieved a bursa of 100 Counters (tokens)
On the Obverse : LUD XV REX CHRISTIANISS the bust on the king signed DUVIVIER F.
On the Reverse : NEC ISTO VELLERE DIGNIOR ALTER the presentation of the first son of the king , under COMIT ARMOR
