what trump think's about old hickory andrew jackson

trump has stated on record that andrew was “an amazing figure in American history — very unique in so many ways,” many people through out donald's campaign said he resembeld andrew jackson in different ways. in February 21 of this year (the day after Inauguration Day) donald decided to hang the portrait of andrew jackson on the wall of the Oval Office

know on to the things that andrew jackson did. you will see just how absurdly amazing he was.

the early life of andrew jackson

andrew and his brother robert served in the revolutionary war as couriers (war mail men) eventually both where captured by the British in 1781, not long after Robert Jackson died on April 27, 1781, that was the 2nd jackson lost to the rvolutionary war, the first was their oldest brother hugh, who died on june 20, 1779

his mother would soon follow suit, and died somtime in november of 1781.

because andrew jacksons father was not around, he became a orphan at just age 14

okay now on to the fun stuff
his time in office

his first act as president was to throw the the biggest, baddest white house party america has ever seen. from what we can find, their was around 15000 people partying on the white house lawn after his inauguration, it got so wild in fact that jackson had to sneek out a window.

"old hickory"

just if you are wondering why people called him "old hickory", it was due to the fact that he was "tough as old hickory" plus he carried a hickory cane with him, which he would use to beat people silly with.

on that note lets talk about the first assassination attempt on a US president. on january 30, 1835, Richerd Lawrence attempted to kill andrew while he left a funeral, stepping out from behind a piller, he pulled his pistol and fired it at him point blank, but it misfired, luckily for Lawrence he had a backup plan, a 2nd pistol, he pulls it out and shoots again, and would you ever guess, it misfired as well, jackson realizing what just happend, jumps on Richerd beating him with his cane so bad jacksons guard's had to pull him off before he beat him to death,

but if he did beat Richerd to death that wouldn't be the first time he killed a man in office, actually he did it all the time, there's no written number of how many duels andrew was in during office, but it is widely accepted that he got into over 100 duels during his two terms. if you EVER questioned his honor, you could expect to be dueling him that day, and lets just remeber that he never lost......

the great cheese wheel

Andrew received a gift in 1835 of cheese, but not just any cheese, a wheel of cheese that weighed 1400 pounds, it was four feet in diameter and two feet thick, it was gifted by a dairy farmer in NY. Andrew never really had a plan for the wheel of cheese, but as the end of his 2nd term grew near he knew what had to be done, so at his last public reception at the White House, he threw a cheese party for everyone who wanted some, The reception’s 10,000 visitors attacked the wheel of cheese with such fervor that the entire thing was gone within two hours.
