The history is only a tall tale.

-Jules Renard.

Discovered in Germany in Nebra by illegal diggers, the disc Nebra sky disk is a major archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. this spectacular bronze and gold disc would be dated from more than 3 600 years and unveil a representative map the sky seen from Germany of the appearance of the Pleiades at the Bronze Age

It measures about 32 centimeters in diameter, weighs 2 kilos and bronze which consists of the the same structure as two swords and two axes found in one place. All is now in the Regional Museum of Prehistory in Halle, Germany.

According to archeoastronomes, the moon is represented by a growing gold but also by a disc which also symbolize the sun by year. gold points represent the stars and the seven stars gathered designate the Pleiades. This disc would symbolize to date the oldest representation of the vault Heavenly.

We also distinguish them on the right side a golden arc of 82 degrees, and parallel on the left side of the trace another arc gone. The value of these angles perfectly fit to the latitude of the place of discovery. But another interesting element is that the summer solstice, the sun sets behind the mountain massif of Mount Brocken, the highest peak in northern Germany, visible from the place of discovery. This could let to suggests one possible point of orientation disk when using westward by aligning with Mount.

Another strange figure shaped elbow appears there but archeoastronomes have no explanation for this object in the sky. We still do not know the feature small holes on the outline or the real utility of this record, if a calendar, a cult object or an astronomical tool. But the information it present suggests that at that time the astronomical knowledge in Europe were much more advanced than what we thought until now. Indeed, it the first thought as accurate celestial information came from the Babylonians 1000 years later.

According to specialists, this album is proof that civilization in Europe Central made up the first illustration of the cosmos in the history of mankind.

Even more amazing: experts recently have brought the Nebra disc with Goseck circle just 25 km away. Apparently this monument 7,000 years comparable to Stonehenge, have directions and markings similar to those of the disc. This could prove that our astronomical knowledge date from an even earlier period.

In short, our official history has not finished being questioned.

Be curious.
