Is Mainstream Philosophy Discriminatory?
Should institutes of learning include more philosophers from minority groups?
Should school syllabus & curriculum include more writers of color?

Do our texts favor white males?
Are Chinese, Indian, African philosophers neglected?
To quote Immanuel Kant:
'this scoundrel was completely black from head to foot, a distinct proof that what he said was stupid.'
'the race of the whites contains all talents and motives in itself'
'a concept of virtue and morality never entered the heads of the Chinese'
To quite David Hume:
"I am apt to suspect the negroes to be naturally inferior to the whites. There scarcely ever was a civilised nation of that complexion, nor even any individual eminent either in action or speculation."
In my opinion, philosophers like Hume and Kant should still be covered in our schools and universities. However, their racist comments should also be known to more people. Just because someone was/is a racist doesn't mean that their work doesn't deserve appreciation provided that it was actually quality work.
