THE GIRL THAT SURVIVED A FALL OF 3000 KM IN AN AIRCRAFT ACCIDENT AND 11 DAYS IN THE JUNGLE (REAL HISTORY)
-Juliane Kopcke, a 17-year-old girl just graduated from the school in Peru on December 23, 1971, had no idea what she would live next day.
She went with her mother to meet her father at a station in the jungle. They had to wait to buy airplane tickets because they were already exhausted due to the end of the year parties.
His only option was the airline Lansa, this airline had bad reputation for two accidents but they also booked the 508 flight tickets without much concern because the flight was only 1 hour. They had to wait 7 hours and took off on December 24th.
everything was fine at first, but then the sky began to darken and the turbulence worsened, all the passengers began to get nervous.
After crossing the Andes at 6400 meters, the plane was caught in a storm with thunder and lightning. The plane began to move with force and the suitcases flew from one side to another.
Scared and helpless, Juliane closed her eyes and grabbed her mother's hand, minutes later, opened her eyes because lightning hit the plane.
the fuel tank ignited and one of the wings of the plane was ripped off, Juliane was in shock, the plane started to plummet, the cabin was tearing, she could not hear anything but the wind ... she does not remember the moment of the impact but probably the seat and the plants of the forest cushioned their fall.
SHE HAVE SURVIVED !!!
for 24 hours Juliane lost and regained consciousness, when she could keep her mind awake, she started screaming for her mom but she was alone in the middle of the jungle.
In addition to surviving the accident, she had to find a way out of the jungle, she had a broken collarbone and large wounds in her arms and legs but she promised herself that she would overcome that nightmare.
While she was looking for food, she heard a plane spinning above her, the accident initiated the biggest search in the history of Peru, but the jungle was so thick that they could not find the wreckage, much less Juliane.
After a while, she stopped listening to the noise of the plane and knew that Nadia was going to rescue her, fortunately she found a bag of candy that was going to be her food for the next 10 days. But she also heard a noise that raised Juliane's mood ... it was a current of water, she had knowledge about the rainforest because her father was a biologist who studied the wild life of the jungle, she remembered that her father I had said that I had to follow the current downwards, I would take it to civilization, besides, Juliane had water to drink.
But walking through the jungle was not easy for Juliane, there were many dangerous animals like snakes and there were also slippery stones.
After walking for days, he reached the edge of a large river and began to swim, hoping that there were no alligators or piranhas.
She swam during the day and at night she rested but it was not easy to rest because the insects made her wounds hurt more.
On the tenth day he saw a boat, he also saw a road that led to an empty hut where there was an engine and a gas tank. Juliane had a very large infected wound that had worms inside, she remembered something she learned from her father, she took the gasoline and poured it into the wound to remove the worms.
She was exhausted and managed to sleep well for the first time in 10 days, the next day she heard voices approaching, they were amazed men because they believed that she was a water goddess due to a popular legend in that place, she was also surprised when he saw them.
Juliane explained to them what had happened, they treated their wounds and gave her food.
The next day they took her to a station and a pilot took Juliane to a hospital, her father arrived and they met.
When he was in the hospital he gave information to researchers who helped them find the plane.
Juliane was the only survivor of the accident.
This is a story that shows that the will of a person can take it forward despite the problems that arise.
