Living Water

Water on asteroids, as in carrier of life through the universe
Water as the blood of this (or) any other planetary being.
Its molecule is "able to combine with more substances than any other molecule."
The faster it flows, the greater its carrying capacity.

Viktor Schauberger

When I came across the work of Viktor Schauberger,
it quickly occurred to me that he is one of those great minds
of the 20th century science that got overlooked, or willfully ignored.
He is mostly know for the vortex and river management.

Much like Nikola Tesla or Wilhelm Riech, his works are the
kind of ideas that show a very different mindset (dream if you will) than,
let's say, the scientists that contributed to the infamous Manhattan project

Viktor was born in Pfarramt Ulrichsberg, Upper Austria on 30th June 1885.

The irony has it that one of his first inventions for transporting trees
downhill via a specially designed water slide,
helped to speed up de-forestation.
A process which he was not very keen on, because the forest cover
keeps the water in a river at a healthy temperature.
Viktor considered 4 degrees Celsius a good temperature because
the density of water is at its highest at this level.

He figured out that by putting some stones in the middle of a river,
erosion at the curves of a meandering river can be managed.
Another project of him was studying vortices and using the simultaneous
occurring up & down currents within them.
Motion based on suction & inward spiral movement, the implosion principle.

When he worked at a Hamburg water treatment facility, he earned the nickname;
Viktor Schlauberger (schlau in German means clever)

In the 1950's he got invited to the US for a project.
This turned out to be a disaster and shortly after his return to Austria
he died on 25th September 1958 in Linz, Upper Austria.

However he left us with plenty of inspiration for improved water management
& some other interesting stuff regarding the vortex and implosion.

This article earned you nothing. Shame indeed! Some twenty years back I was occupied with Herrn Schlauberger's ideas. Really inspiring stuff. In GB I have seen a community build water turbine based on inward spirale. I have to look again into his work. Thanks.
