The history of the prophet Yunus alaihi wassalam in swallow by the fish

Of the many lives of the Prophet and the Prophet, the story of Prophet Yunus Alaihissalam became one that is so inherent in memory. One of his most famous stories is when the Prophet was swallowed up by a large fish in the middle of the ocean.

Prophet Yunus was swallowed alive and lived in the belly of a fish that resembled a whale for some time wading through the ocean. But thanks to the repentance and dhikr he uttered, the fish finally spewed his stomach so that the Prophet also came out in animate state.

This fish then returns to the ocean and leaves the Prophet Yunus alone. The story between the two is just up there. However, when the Prophet Jonah had died thousands of years ago, the fish was considered still alive today. Is that right?

Speculation of the news about the fish is still alive is Surat Ash Shafa verse: 145. Allah explains that when the prophet Jonah did not repent, He will remain in the belly of the fish until the Day of Resurrection.

"(139). Truly Jonah is truly one of the apostles, (140). (remember) when he fled, to a loaded ship, (141). Then he joined the lot and then he included the losers in the lottery. (142). So he was swallowed up by a big fish in a deplorable state. (143). So if he were not of those who remember Allah much, (144). Undoubtedly he will remain in the belly of the fish until the day of resurrection. (145). (Q.S Ash Shaaffaat verses 139-145).

Based on the interpretation of various sources, the meaning "remains in the belly of the fish until the day of resurrection (145)", ie the belly of the fish will be his grave until the day of resurrection. It is then assumed if the fish is still alive today.

Social media residents are busy spreading this. However, no one knows the truth for sure. Allah SWT says if the Prophet Yunus did not repent, it will stay in the belly of the fish until the Day of Resurrection. But in fact, the prophet Jonah had repented to Allah and was forgiven. Sehinnga is possible if the fish is also dead.

Rasulullah SAW also did not explain about how the fish life after spewing the Prophet Yunus. Allah knows, And Allah knows better or Omniscience.

Fish similar to the whale is also nicknamed with fish Nun. He devoured the Prophet Jonah AS when he left his rebellious people. With his anger Jonah chose to leave by ship abandoning the inhabitants of Ninawa, In the Mosul area, Iraq. This story is told by Allah SWT in the Qur'an

"When he goes in a state of anger." (Al-Anbiya: 87).

It turned out that after the death of the Prophet Yunus as the inhabitants of Ninawa was shown by Allah SWT will be a great disaster that will befall them. So in the midst of that fear they repent to Allah. Then, God forgives the people who originally worshiped the idol.

However, the prophet Jonah did not know the incident. He chose to leave and leave the Ninevans in a state of anger. He boarded a ship so loaded with loads. Initially, the ship sailed calmly.

But this condition suddenly changed. Strong winds hit, the sky was dark black with clouds. The storm occurred, the ship that boarded the Prophet Yunus US is swayed and will drown. The crew were panicked, they then threw out the entire load in it. Hopefully, the ship does not drown if the load is reduced.

Unfortunately, this does not help. Then, it was proposed that the lottery be made to reduce the human being in it. In the draw, anyone who came out of his name should be thrown into the sea.

Apparently, Prophet Yunus AS including those who lost in the draw. Initially other passengers did not approve of the Prophet Yunus who was banished from the ship. But after three draws, it turns out that Jonah is still defeated.
