If you are into manga by any chance, there is a manga on miymoto musashi. It’s pretty epic and the realism in the manga would probably make it only ‘a bit’ better than kenshin.
I've never read mangas, to be honest. I just enjoy watching samurai animes , but I'm thinking of trying the one about Musashi... Given your comment, I might end up enjoying that too 🙂 thanks for the inspiration
