Currency of Pedir similar to Mughal currency
Van Langen (1888) contains pictures silver currency, from Pedir (now districts of Pidie, Aceh) called "kupang". So far I have never seen objects or the original picture.
According to images aired Van Langen, currency front side inscribed: 1172 Paduka Sultan 'Alaiddin Shah; and on the back side: 'Azizul Barakah 6.
A source said that the Sultan of Aceh it has allowed the State of Pedir to print its own currency.

While the word 'Azizul Barakah' (blessed glorious), it is not yet known whether he of Pedir rulers, or degree of Sultan 'Alaiddin or other. Even so, it also has similarities with Mughal, because Alamgir II has the title 'Azizuddin (both use the word' Aziz: Aziz Ad-Din and 'Aziz Al-baraka).
Similarities or may be affected kupang Pedir currency with Mughal currency seem obvious, which suggests a possible link between Pedir and Mughal, but the question then is how the real relationships state of Pedir with Mughal Empire at India?
