V. Karl

V. Karl was born in 1500. Karl became an East Roman emperor when his grandfather 1519 died. At the same time Karl was the king of Germany and the king of Spain.

Karl tried to unite all the european people under a single flag. At the same time, Karl also thought that all the European people should be Catholic. That is why Karl directed a great struggle against the Protestants.

Karl has started a war against France, which is getting stronger. And Karl won this war. But the Ottoman state started a war against Karl on this war. The Ottoman army launched a voyage to Europe. Karl has established a great army in Europe. But Karl lost the war against the Ottoman state.

After this, the Protestants and the French princes started fighting against Karl. On these pressures, in 1557, Karl resigned from his post of empire. And Karl died in 1558.
